My path to becoming a psychologist in France has been shaped by both personal experiences and a deep commitment to helping others. From an early age, I was driven by a strong desire to support people, a calling rooted in my own journey of overcoming personal trauma. Music initially provided an outlet for self-expression, and at 14, I wrote The Truth, which became the title track of an Emmy-winning documentary about childhood cancer. This was the beginning of my advocacy work through The Truth 365, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about pediatric cancer. Through this platform, I connected with families and institutions globally, including Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, the National Cancer Institute in Maryland, and the Institut Gustave Roussy in Paris. In 2019, I delivered a TEDx talk titled Music and Childhood Cancer, where I explored the power of channeling personal experiences to create meaningful change.

While pursuing my undergraduate degrees in Psychology and French at the University of Southern California, I became increasingly interested in the effects of trauma on the human experience. I interned at the Ronald McDonald House of Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and became a research assistant within USC’s Lifespan Development Laboratory. My research, inspired by my experiences within the pediatric cancer community, investigated the efficacy of evidence-based interventions for individuals coping with traumatic loss.

During my graduate studies at Sorbonne Paris Nord, I delved into the realm of child protection, particularly in cases involving incest, abuse, and intrafamilial violence. A clinical internship with the French judicial system allowed me to assist in psychological evaluations of both victims and perpetrators, deepening my understanding of trauma-informed care and forensic assessment.

Today, my work and advocacy continue to span a broad range of causes at the intersection of trauma and child protection.. I serve on the board of the Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation, overseeing trauma and mental health initiatives for families impacted by childhood cancer. In January 2025, I facilitated a trauma retreat for cancer survivors and their families, and I have authored three workbooks to help cancer families navigate post-traumatic stress. I also collaborate with organizations like Incest Aware to break the silence surrounding incest and child sexual abuse, as these issues remain close to my heart.

My life and work reflect an unwavering commitment to humanity. I believe in healing and in the possibility of a better world—not as an abstract ideal, but as something tangible and achievable. My own experiences overcoming adversity, along with the years spent supporting others in their healing journeys, are a testament to the hope and healing available to those committed to their growth and recovery. It is my hope to be an ally to those facing challenges, to meet you wherever you are in your healing journey—whether you’re taking your first tentative steps or finding your way through the messy middle. From someone who knows, understands, and genuinely cares.
